The Merchants Captains Guild

Located in the northwest of Dragonstar West is a building called the Merchants Captains Guild of Dragonstar, and inside it is the Argonian Porliss Caith. He will explain that he is worried about the situation in Dragonstar East, which has been occupied by the military of Skyrim. In particular, he needs you to discover if the Head of the Thieves Guild in Dragonstar East is still alive.

Entering Dragonstar East

Entering Dragonstar East is not automatic, as the forces of Dragonstar West have barricaded the gates. You must complete the East Gate Raider Spree quest.

The Thieves Guild

The Thieves Guild is hidden in the quarter of Dragonstar East. On one of the walls is a secret door, that leads into a black market warehouse guarded by thieves. In the second room of this Warehouse is Clever Sed, leader of the thieves guild.

Returning the Message

Clever Sed will give you a message that he will cooperate with Porliss to take back. Return to Porliss at the Merchants Captains Guild to get a Shadowkey as a reward.

• It is not essential to have done the Porliss Lakvan Evidence quest to receive this one, as Tanyin Aldwyr's version will do just as well.
