Imperial Camp location

The Imperial camp is a campsite or archaeological dig of some sort in the Ogres Tooth Mountains. It is north of the Dwarven Steam Pipes area of the Dwarven Ruins. The easiest way to reach it is by a cobblestone road that leads under the Dwarven Ruins bridges and wraps north along the mountainside. The road continues south again after the camp but dead ends at a cliff beneath the northern end of the eastern bridge.

As you approach the camp, you will notice a large Dwarven dirigible, which flies away toward the city. Cyrus will say, "Imperial guards. What are they doing up here? And what kind of ship is that?" Four veteran guards patrol this area and will attack you on sight.

There are seven pouches of gold scattered around the camp among the piles of Dwarven artifacts, which are simply decoration. The only other objects of note are four empty tents, an Imperial flag raised on a pole in the center, two tables, five chairs, and a bunch of spears stuck in the ground to mark the road.

Notes[edit]

  • The name "Imperial Camp" comes from the map in The Redguard Companion and does not appear in-game.
  • Several natural coastal pillars lie along the road up to the camp. These are similar in location to and may have inspired the Pillar of the Singing Sun in ESO. That pillar is an actual stone monument dedicated to Hunding that stands isolated on a separate island.
