Setting | Cyrodiil |
Project Cyrodiil (commonly abbreviated as PC) is one of the collaborative fan-based modding projects within Project Tamriel, with the goal of creating the province of Cyrodiil in Morrowind's engine. This is the team's own interpretation of Cyrodiil based on lore that existed before The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, although it takes inspiration from some of the ideas in that game.
Project Cyrodiil currently includes the Kingdom of Anvil, on the west of coast of mainland Cyrodiil. This includes the Strident Coast and Dasek Marsh regions, as well as Stirk Isle, which was originally a Tamriel Rebuilt project for Oblivion, as well as the setting of the initial alpha versions of PC itself. A huge expanse of the Abecean Sea floor, littered with ruins, shipwrecks, and dungeons, is also included.
Both Tribunal and Bloodmoon are required to play this mod.

History
Current Development
Project Cyrodiil has been in development since at least 2008. Its latest version, 24.12 Abecean Shores, was released on 22 December 2024, comprising a complete rework of the island of Stirk, and the mainland portion of the Kingdom of Anvil, including the eponymous city, and marking the project's departure from an alpha version to a fully-featured release.
Future
The next major release for the mod will be Salt and Spice, which will feature the city of Sutch and a large region on the border with Hammerfell.
Organization Process
The development process is similar to Tamriel Rebuilt's process, but uses a forum format to handle claims. Since the mod now relies on Tamriel Data, assets are contributed through Tamriel Rebuilt's asset browser.
