Improving the page[edit]
With this page, my attempt has been to do an in-depth study of an ESO NPC. At the same time I was wondering how to improve the NPC pages in ESO, and whether we could have a updated Style Guide for writing the NPC pages. I think the general guide right now is okay, but I'd prefer a few points being less vague. Right now this NPC page here contains basically everything, bar only a few dialogue lines.
I'd like to hear suggestions or examples how Leythen's page can be improved more. Specifically - 1. Anything to omit? 2. Changes to be made to formatting? Thanks. Tib (talk) 11:25, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- I'm not exactly an expert when it comes to style and formatting, but I think the top-of-the-page text can be trimmed quite a bit. Most of that content should be dealt with more in the quest/dialogue areas, with the top only being two paragraphs long at most.--Idarak (talk) 11:33, 24 August 2018 (UTC)

- I agree and disagree also. What the npcs really lack here is a good background. This is also one of the few places where you can really make them feel like real persons. However you are right that there's alot of info on the top... so I've been thinking we should have a "Background" paragraph. Haven't seen it in any ESO npc page, but I'd definitely support using it. (This content *is* in the quest areas as well, by the way. On the top of the page it is simply summarized.) Tib (talk) 11:57, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
