Ylahizu the Magnificent is a High Elf mage who can be found as a random encounter around Blackwood.

Dialogue

When you approach, he says:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Magic! Fascinations to beguile your very imaginations!"

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Experience the thaumaturgical prowess of a master!"

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Challenge what you know, if you're courageous enough. All things are possible."

When spoken to, he offers a magical trick:

"I, myself, am no mere magician like those you find in the House of Revelry. I wield magic. I imbue it. Shape it to my own delights and those of the people I favor.
For some coin, I could favor you with a display of whatever your heart desires."

"I offer no mere prestidigitation.
Curated magical sensations for people of all nations for only a modicum of monetary demarcation."

"Peddlers will tell you about the strength of their craft, but words are nothing to an intelligent person such as yourself. Which is why I show you proof of by abilities.
For a fee, I could lend my magical might towards whichever end you seek."

"A coin and I would be delighted to comply.
What captivates your soul? To witness life through another's brows? The soar in freedom between the clouds? To see to those wrapped in shrouds?"

You'll then have your choice of three options:

The Guise of Ylahizu

The conversation then ends, and you receive 10 minutes of "Guise of Ylahizu", which changes your model into one of five things: a male Maormer, a female Maormer, a skeleton, a goblin, or ^(?). Ylahizu then says:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "The gift of a temporary visage I give to you, to experience the world with another's stoop!"

Soar between the clouds. [Pay led GoldLow Leveled Gold ]

The conversation then ends, and he promptly levitates you high into the air, saying:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Into the air with you, I command! There may be danger when you land."

I wish to see those in shrouds. [Pay led GoldLow Leveled Gold ]

The conversation then ends, and a Lost Spirit is summoned. Ylahizu then says:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Ghostly figure I command, so show what it looks like at the end!"

A variant option has the conversation end, and a Lost Spirit is summoned behind him. Ylahizu then says:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Ghostly figure I command, so show what it looks like at the end!"

<An annoyed spirit appears nearby.>

Lost Spirit: "The next time that impudent wizard summons me, he'll be mine."

After whichever option you choose, he leaves, saying:

Ylahizu the Magnificent: "Sad to say but my work is complete, ask me for another when next we meet!"

Bugs

• Sometimes the Guise of Ylahizu will have no effect and will simply hide any equipped cosmetics.
  • Sometimes the cosmetics disappear, but your body shape is changed and the ability to hide your helmet does not work.
• When Guise of Ylahizu is active, the player will be unable to change outfits, preview outfit pieces, hide helmet, or equip costumes. ^?
  • If the player's helmet is hidden before gaining the ability, it will become visible for the duration of the effect. ^?
