Wise-Woman Ushuta is an old blind Orc wise-woman in Nikolvara's Kennel. She is oblivious to the durzogs that roam the cave, and spends her time either sitting around her small camp at the bottom of a waterfall or fishing in the nearby pool of water.
Dialogue[edit]
She has many greetings.
- "The answer to your question echos in your heart."
- "Your greatest enemy looks back at you from the mirror."
- "The person you least expect admirers [sic] you from afar."
- "The shoes of happiness wrap warmly about your feet."
- "If words lack meaning, then they were not meant for you to hear."
- "Your destiny is in your own hands."
- "You shall travel to many exotic places before your adventure comes to an end."
- "Every mistake represents a chance to learn a valuable lesson."
- "No one will consider you a failure if you never abandon your goals."
- "Your deeds speak louder than your boasts and brags."
After her, greeting you you can ask her some questions.
- What are you doing in here?
- "I am the wise woman of the clans. I come here to think and contemplate the great mysteries of life.
I find it peaceful here." - Aren't you afraid of the durzogs?
- "What durzogs?
Besides, there is no fear, just misunderstanding."
- "What durzogs?
- Which clan do you serve?
- "I serve all clans, but I claim none of them as my home.
Every chief wants me at his side, but what I have to say must not be limited to a single stronghold."
- "I serve all clans, but I claim none of them as my home.
- What does a wise woman of the clans do exactly?
- "Some call me a philosopher, others a sage. I suppose you could say that I am sought out for my wisdom and sound judgment.
Most seek profound insight or advice from me. Perhaps that is why you have encountered me this day." - So you can predict my future?
- "Some seek my counsel. But insight given freely isn't worth the price you pay for it."
- [Intimidate] Tell me my future, old woman, or I'll feed you to the durzogs.
- "Such a temper! You would make a perfectly adequate chief some day. But you want words of wisdom. Very well.
What you do today will be done to you tomorrow."
- "Such a temper! You would make a perfectly adequate chief some day. But you want words of wisdom. Very well.
- [Persuade] Oh great and kind wise woman, I have come to listen to your inspiring words
- "Sweet words drip from your mouth like flowing honey! Very well, listen carefully.
Fight only those you can defeat and your life will be long and boring. Challenge those that are stronger than you and your last moments will be quick and exciting."
- "Sweet words drip from your mouth like flowing honey! Very well, listen carefully.
- Will this pay for my fortune, wise woman? [# gold]
- "Gold! For me? Oh very well. Listen closely.
A fool loses gold the way snow melts near a forge. But never fear. Gold can't buy happiness. And it is the root of all evil."
- "Gold! For me? Oh very well. Listen closely.
- "Some call me a philosopher, others a sage. I suppose you could say that I am sought out for my wisdom and sound judgment.
