Watcher Shavmar

Watcher Shavmar is an undead Nede found in Skyreach Catacombs. Along with Armok and Garalan, he sacrificed himself to seal Virmaril in the catacombs after his betrayal of the Nedes. In order to reach Virmaril you must destroy Armok and the other watchers.

Skills and Abilities

Ice Arrow

A basic ranged attack that does moderate frost damage.

Void

The enemy summons a purple orb from the sky that explodes when it hits the ground splitting into three projectiles dealing moderate magical damage. Although there is a large red circle indicator for this attack, the player will not take damage unless hit by the projectile itself. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.

Summon Burdening Eye

The enemy summons a Burdening Eye that moves toward the player.

Winter's Reach

The enemy releases an icy whirlwind in the direction it is facing. This whirlwind does moderate frost damage and roots all players that it hits. Root effect passes through block, and can be escaped by roll dodging. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided.

Magelight

The enemy summons a mote of magelight, revealing stealthed and invisible players around itself for 5 seconds. Exposed players cannot return to stealth or invisibility for 3 seconds.

Annulment

The enemy casts a protective ward and gains a damage shield for 6 seconds.

Notes

• Despite looking like a dragon priest, Shavmar is a Nede and therefore unrelated to those Nordic forms of undead.
• Watcher Shavmar's Journal can be found to the right of his crypt.
