Players within the globe will be silenced and pets/companions are stunned. Silence prevents players from using any ability costing Health, Magicka, Ultimate or have no cost at all as long as they are in the affected area. War Chief Zathmoz's version covers a larger area than standard nullifiers.
- Hardened
- Upon reaching 80%/60%/40% health, War Chief Zathmoz raises his greatsword and becomes invulnerable briefly, signifying him gaining new abilities. At 80%, he adds some thundermaul class abilities to his arsenal. At 60%, a battlemage class ability and a unique ability. At 40% health, a modified warpriest ability.

- Shocking Leap
- War Chief Zathmoz leaps up into the sky and falls back down at his target's location, indicated by a very large red circle, dealing very high shock damage and stunning them.
- Blood Pack
- While War Chief Zathmoz and his durzogs are close to each other, indicated by a massive blinking red circle around Zathmoz, all three gain a very large boost to their damage output. As such, they must be kept separated as much as possible. This can be achieved via kiting, but there is also a designated mechanic for this in the arena.
- Several flashing barrels in the arena, named "Reeking Flesh", can be kicked over after a brief animation, spilling their contents. This lures the durzogs to the meat, causing them to stop attacking and moving and focus on eating the meat for 30 seconds (even if they are attacked during this time). However, there is a finite amount of them.
- Summon
- Occassionally during the fight, goblins and ogres from War Chief Zathmoz's tribe will run into the arena to assist him. These can consist of Ogres, Ogre Brutes, Ogre Shamans, Toad-Tongue Berserkers, Toad-Tongue Blade-Bearers, Toad-Tongue Fire Mages, Toad-Tongue Shamans, Toad-Tongue Spitters, and Toad-Tongue Veterans.
- Priority should be on Ogre Shamans, as they can both snare and immobilize targets with their ice magic, but most importantly, can heal Zathmoz.
