Skills and Abilities[edit]

Quick Strike
A basic melee ability that deals low physical damage.
Spike
The skullguard throws two bone spikes into the ground, which glows for a few seconds before exploding, as indicated by growing circular AoEs.
Spike Wall
The skullguard plants their weapon into the ground, summoning five bone spikes, all of which have a small AoE around them. Standing in the AoE deals low damage over time. The spikes themselves act as barriers that block movement. After a time, the skullguard detonates the spikes for additional damage.
Bat Ambush
The enemy teleports into a swarm of bats to the player. This attack does moderate magic damage and knocks down the player briefly.
Red Breath
The enemy sprays a red mist in a cone in front of itself dealing moderate magic damage and knocking down any targets hit by it.
Summon Bound Hemoptera
The enemy summons a Bound Hemoptera, which channels a buff on their summoner that causes them to do twice the damage and take less damage. If the Hemoptera is interrupted, it becomes an Unbound Hemoptera. They will be rebound to their summoner after a few seconds.
Sacrifice Hemoptera
The enemy can destroy its Hemoptera to heal itself.
Spike
Being hit by a spike as it spawns deals low damage.

Dialogue[edit]

While in Blackreach, you may encounter a Skullguard with a group of Harrowed and a fellow vampire. They will be frustrated with harrowed's lack of mining skill.

Vampire Skullguard: "Useless! Do it right!"
<They walk over to a nearby ore deposit and begins to demonstrate while the other vampire laughs at them>
Vampire Skullguard: "Watch me do it!"

After you kill the vampires. A single Captive who was among the group will then thank you and escape.
