The Noxious Herald is a powerful ^{What race?} who can be found at the end of the Plagued Quarter of Bastion Nymic.

Skills and Abilities

The Herald is invulnerable while he's waving his staff around

Starting the fight, the Noxious Herald will be surrounded by a few Hidden Kindred Alchemist. They can be quickly disposed of. Afterwards the fight will start in earnest with the following abilities being used;

Creeping Contagion

When this boss says "Receive the gift of Peryite!", it will mark one player, which will generate a large area-of-effect damage zone after it grows. The player should run to a far corner and allow the mark to go off, while the boss and adds are lured to the other side of the arena.

Plague Ring

An AoE shaped like a ring will appear around random players, and releases the poison/disease attack after a few seconds. Move away from other players so they don't get hit.

Noxious Breath

The Noxious Herald casts Noxious Breath which deals poison damage in a cone then poison damage over time that applies Major Breach, reducing your armor by 5948, for 30 seconds.

Invulnerability Phase

Periodically during the fight, the Herald will temporarily become invulnerable. This is marked by the Herald saying "Lord Peryite, grant your blessing to your loyal servant." and summoning several Peryite's Blessings and Hidden Kindred. All of the adds need to be killed to remove the invulnerability. During this phase, the Herald will also use Poison Fumes and Poison Flask.

Poison Flask

The Noxious Herald launches multiple poison flasks in the area, creating areas that deal damage after a short time.

Poison Fumes

This is used during the Herald's invulnerability phase, multiple poison clouds AoE circles will appear in the area randomly and an overlap each other. Can cause poison damage.

The Noxious Herald: "Come, pilgrims! Bear witness to the Taskmaster's works!"

When casting Creeping Contagion:

The Noxious Herald: "Receive the gift of Peryite!"

When starting the Invulnerability Phase:

The Noxious Herald: "Lord Peryite! Grant your blessing to your loyal servant!"

Unknown Trigger:

The Noxious Herald: "No, not yet! Lord of Pestilence, aid me!"
