Online:The Amronal of Valenwood
|
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Begin the quest by talking to Elaldor.
- Defeat the Amronal Wispmother at Rootwatch Tower.
- Return to Elaldor.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
This quest is started by talking to Elaldor, who is located near the northern exit of Woodhearth. He tells you that a powerful wispmother killed his hunting band, and that he is not capable of defeating it himself. He asks you to go and kill the wispmother for him to avenge his friends. The wispmother is located northeast of here; you can get there quickly by using the Serpent's Grotto Wayshrine if you have it discovered - otherwise, walk or ride to the location of the wispmother on the map.
When you arrive, you see the frozen bodies of Elaldor's hunting band around. Head towards the center of the circle on your map. It leads west of Rootwatch Tower. There, you will find the Amronal Wispmother. Fight and kill this dangerous enemy, and loot its corpse. Once you have done so, return to Elaldor, who is now just a little bit north of you. He thanks you for dealing with the wispmother and gives you the Hunter's Skullcap and some leveled gold as a reward.
Notes[edit]
- The Amronal Wispmother won't exist in the swamp (but her wisps do) before starting the quest.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
