Sustaining Shadows reduces the cost of sneaking by up to 50%. This cumulates with other similar bonuses such as Light Armor's Light Armor Bonuses, Medium Armor's Improved Sneak or Night Mother's Embrace 5 piece bonus.

This is useful if your Stamina pool and recovery are low or for specific parts built around this such as Lord Hollowjack's stealth phase.
