Online:Sparking the Flame
|
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Light the signal beacon.
- Save the villagers.
- Meet with Captain Rana outside the barrow to evacuate.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Captain Rana asks you to light the signal beacon outside of Bleakrock. While you do so, Rana will rally the villagers and prepare the evacuation. You should speak to Tillrani Snow-Bourne after the beacon is lit. At this point, all is well in the village. Only Maesa, Earth-Turner family members, Halmaera's family members, Mathor and Tillrani Snow-Bourne have new dialogues that reflect the new progression.
The tower containing the beacon is south of Rana's office. There is a road leading to it left of the office as you exits and you'll find the road already occupied by the covenant soldiers. Enter the tower, climb the stairs to the top and light the signal fire.
Tillrani Snow-Bourne is at the wooden gate leading into Bleakrock at the end of the road. She is badly injured but able to tell you about the Covenant attack on the village before dying. She tells you that the refugees are waiting by the local crypt, and that the Earth-Turners have been cornered by Covenant soldiers. You need to rally the endangered villagers and head for the tomb near the docks. Enter the village you'll find the village is on fire, many corpses of villagers and animals lying on the ground, and Covenant Soldiers everywhere. And if you have rescued Faltha, Molla and Brend before, you'll find them guarding the Barrow.
Save the Village[edit]
Grab a bucket of water from the well near the center of the town. Northwest of the well is the Earth-Turner's house where Denskar hid from the Covenant soldiers. To the east, Aera Earth-Turner is hiding in Tillrani Snow-Bourne's house. Littrek Earth-Turner is in the barn behind the Earth-Turner's house. Trynhild is to the southwest, crouched behind a boat at the docks.
Return to Rana at the tomb to the southeast for some gold. You'll also find all the villagers that you've helped there: the Earth-Turner family, Darj the Hunter, Sergeant Seyne, Rolunda, Eiman, Hoknir, Runs-in-Wild, Halmaera, Geilund and Rexus.
Notes[edit]
- Of all the villagers you've helped before, only Bjorynolf doesn't show up at the tomb at the end of this quest.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
