Sovngarde Icemage

Sovngarde Icemages are Nord frost mages who can be found at Dragonstar Arena. They are fought during Round 2: The Frozen Ring.

Skills and Abilities

Ice Arrow

A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.

Summon Ice Barrier

The enemy summons an Ice Barrier that absorbs projectiles fired at it until destroyed. The player should move so that there is a clear line of sight between themselves and the enemy.

Winter's Reach

The enemy unleashes an icy whirlwind in the direction it is facing. This whirlwind does moderate frost damage and roots all players that it hits. The root effect passes through block, but it can be escaped by roll dodging.

Crushing Shock

Sovngarde Icemage casts a Crushing Shock-like ability, dealing Flame, Frost and Shock damage. It has a 40% chance of applying each of the Burning, Chilled and Concussed status effects. If it hits a casting target, it interrupts them and puts them Off-Balance.
