Quest-Related Events[edit]
He will be pacing back and forth in a tower to the southwest of Fullhelm Fort. When you approach him:
- "Where are they?"
He has become concerned about the safety of his friends after they dared each other to do deeds and they have been gone for several days. If you talk to him he will ask for your help finding them:
- "Where could they be? Why haven't they returned?"
- What's wrong?
- "My friends and I dared each other to do great deeds and return here to tell the tales. But I've waited here for days and the others haven't returned.
Will you seek out Gamwyn, Rigvar, and Irgnar?" - Maybe they'll come back on their own.
- "No, I just know they're in trouble. They always seem to be. Please find them, help them out of whatever trouble they're in, and then come back here.
Maybe start with Gamwyn. She said she was going to a dragonshrine." - I'll do it.
You can ask him a bit more about his friends:
- "I can't wait to see those losers' faces!"
- What more can you tell me?
- "Not much. They're not very bright and they've always been unlucky, so anything could have happened to them."
If you head back to him after finding Rigvar and before finding Irgnar:
- "Please find my friends. I keep thinking about all the awful things that might have happened to them."
After finding his friends in various states and killing Redmaw, you will return back to him and he will learn a lesson:
- "Well, this trip was a disaster."
- I hope you and Rigvar have learned a lesson here.
- "The wilderness is just too dangerous for us. I'm never leaving town again!"
After the quest he will say:
- "Well, at least they're all accounted for. No more dares for me."
