Dialogue[edit]
Speaking with Sir Aval while not on his related quest, or after having spoken with him about it:
- "If you're going out into the wilderness make sure you keep your blade sharp and your boots laced. Galen holds plenty of surprises for the casual traveler and none should be taken lightly."
Quest-Related Dialogue[edit]
- "Piece of advice, friend. Be careful out in the wilds of Galen. I've seen one slip put good fighters in overgrown graves.
Though you look like you know your business. Shame some in Vastyr aren't as knowledgeable." - Lady Juline sent me to assess Y'ffre's Path for her tour. She said you might know more?
- "Ahh, yes. Lady Juline. At least she had enough sense to send someone else on her fool's errand. Trust me, friend. Y'ffre's Path is no place for a tour, let alone one meant for soft-footed nobles."
- Is Y'ffre's Path really so dangerous?
- "Hmm. It seems my stern warnings weren't enough to dissuade Lady Juline.
The Eldertide Circle has never taken kindly to strangers traipsing about in the sacred site. Now the path is more dangerous than ever, thanks to recent events." - Recent events?
- "Something's turned rotten in Y'ffre's Path. Corrupt. The beasts there turn on anyone who sets foot in the place. And the very air is thick with strange spores.
If you must go, stay on the main paths. And hold your breath."
Speaking with him again after completing the quest:
- "Lady Juline told me about your work in Y'ffre's Path. A job well done, adventurer! I'm not too embarrassed to admit you have rekindled my warrior's spirit today. No small task, mind you."
