Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Delves-Deeply.
- Interact with the crates.
- Meet Delves on The Tribunal's Spear.
- Interact with the Dampening Stone.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
When you enter into Quendeluun through the tunnel behind its Wayshrine, you will see a tent to your right, in which Delves-Deeply stands underneath. Speak to her:
- "You're an unexpected bend in the river. Not Veiled Heritance, yes? And obviously not Pact. Perhaps we may be of service to one another?"
- Aren't you a member of the Pact?
- "Argonians as a people are, yes. But these troops are no friends of mine.
I want to teach these pigs a lesson. I help you, you help me?"- What do you have in mind?
- "This crystal, take it. The Pact has unloaded arcane cargo all around the cove.
Simply touch the crystal to the cargo. The results should be... impressive"- I'll give it a shot.
You may ask her more questions in regards to the crystal and her being here, or you can press onwards. If you question the stability of the crystal, you may Intimidate her into attuning it to you. Attuning to the crystal has a minimal impact, however. When you are Destroying crates normally, it sometimes stuns you briefly; if you are attuned, this doesn't happen.
Regardless of your choice, roam around the ruins and interact with the crates scattered about. There are both Heritance and Pact members about, so either avoid them entirely or attack them head-on at your own discretion. After you're done with that, head to the western pier and enter the upper quarters of the ship docked there, The Tribunal's Spear. Delves will be standing there, a Dampening Stone hovering beside her. Speak to her:
- "Good work. The crystal?"
- I still have it.
- "Excellent. So now you see—this gem dampens my magicka.
The crystal I gave you, along with a bit of spellwork, should set me free."- What are you going to do?
- "I will start the spell. Once I have the crystal weakened, I will tell you to use the crystal I gave you. Using it will be the final boost I need.
Then I shall be free. Ready?" - I'm ready.
She will then use a spell to break the barrier surrounding the levitating stone. Wait for her to complete the spell, then interact with the Dampening Stone to use the crystal on it. When you do so, the stone disappears. Talk to Delves-Deeply to finish the quest:
- "Well done!"
- What will you do now?
- "Leave these pigs to your slaughter. May they rot.
Thank you for your help. Shadowfen awaits!"
She will then teleport away.
Notes[edit]
- Even if you are allied to the Ebonheart Pact, her comment about you "not being Pact" will remain the same.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
