Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to Drelden Orn.
- Subdue six Kwama around Senie and use Drelden's Whistle on them.
- Talk to Drelden Orn at his mine.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Start the quest by talking to Drelden Orn, a kwama farmer hiding in the dry fountain in the middle of the destroyed town of Senie. He seems nervous, and asks if you've seen any kwama around west of the town, and whether you'd be willing to lead them to his mine. He explains that the eruption of the volcano scared them, causing them to flee and become aggressive to anyone who approaches them. According to him, a good beating should calm them down again, but he can't do it himself since he's injured. He gives you Drelden's Whistle that the kwama have been trained to obey and asks you to beat them up, then use the whistle to send them back to the mine.
Head southwest along the road to the quest area marked on your map. You'll find hostile Kwama Workers and nonhostile Kwama Scribs roaming in the vicinity of buildings and the road. Attack them until they lose their health bars and appear to be stunned, then use the whistle on them to cause them to run towards the mine. When you've rounded up six of the kwama, head to Drelden's mine west of the town along the slopes of Ash Mountain.
When you reach the mine, you'll find Drelden standing in front of it surrounded by his kwama. He's grateful for your help, and plans to get the mine opened again. He'll reward you with a Kwama Cuttle Shield and a small amount of gold.

Drelden's kwama must be "persuaded" to return home. A sufficiently convincing beating should stun one and briefly make it friendlier. After that, I can use Drelden's Whistle to order it home.
Objective: Use Drelden's Whistle on Kwama: 0/6

I've "convinced" several of Drelden's errant kwama to return to his mine. I should meet him there to claim my reward.
Objective: Talk to Drelden Orn at His Mine

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
