Paaniir is a Khajiit member of the Thieves Guild who can be found in the Thieves Den in Abah's Landing. She is a former merchant who was recruited by Walks-Softly, as such, she is very grateful to him. Though when you first meet her, Paaniir is worried about the future of the Guild.
Dialogue[edit]
She can say one of the follow:
- "Isn't Walks-Softly sleek? If not for him, I'd be rotting away in a dungeon somewhere instead of hiding in this amazing cistern, waiting for my next job to come along.
That came out sounding terrible, but I really do appreciate what he did for me."
- "Step right up and let me show you what I have for sale!
Oh, sorry. Old habits die hard. I used to be a merchant, but that was a long time ago. Now I'm part of the guild. We still have a guild, don't we?"
- "Walks-Softly says we're safe down here, but I can't help looking around and thinking that I jumped out of the sinking boat and into the jaws of the slaughterfish.
Do those kind of thoughts make me a bad person?"
After learning about the possible fate of the dowry, you can talk to her about it.
- Looks like the guild's last heist wasn't a complete failure after all.
- "I heard. But if the guild didn't wind up with the dowry, I wonder who did?
It's the curse of Prince Hew. Nothing ever turns out as planned in Abah's Landing, and that's the truth."- You're rather cynical.
- "You think so? That's the nicest thing anyone's said about me since I left Greenshade—and mostly they said "good riddance" as I departed."
- Pick up any interesting loot lately?
- "Who told you about—I mean, no, not a thing.
Look, I can't help it if things accidentally happen to fall into my pouches. If I had to keep track of every item that belonged to someone else and wound up in my possession, I'd never get anything done."
