Online:Out-of-Bounds Locations in Vvardenfell

There are multiple landmarks from TES III: Morrowind that have been recreated in ESO: Morrowind, but are not normally accessible. They are shown on the map, but not named in-game, so are listed here by their names from TES III. Most of them are found in the Ashlands, in close proximity to Red Mountain, or in Sheogorad in the northern part of the zone.

For a list of accessible but unnamed landmarks, see Unnamed Locations in Vvardenfell.

Places[edit]

Sheogorad[edit]

Sheogorad is a chain of islands to the north of Vvardenfell's mainland. It cannot be reached by normal means due to slaughterfish, but an Argonian with Rapid Maneuver can make it across in various locations with some difficulty. It was not included in the Chapter due to constraints regarding the large amount of Vvardenfell's territory already being adapted at the time of development. Zeb Cook said on ESO live that the team would love to come back to it at some point and that it "might happen", suggesting it could one day be a Story DLC zone.[1]

Ald Daedroth

Ald Daedroth[edit]

Ald Daedroth is a Daedric ruin located in the inaccessible region of Sheogorad, far north of Vos. It can be seen from the northeastern shore, to the east of the shrine of Kushtashpi.

Ald Redaynia

Ald Redaynia[edit]

Ald Redaynia is a Velothi tower located in the inaccessible Sheogorad region, north of the Daedric ruin of Ashurnabitashpi. It can be seen from the shore near the aforementioned ruin.

Assurdirapal

Assurdirapal[edit]

Assurdirapal is a Daedric ruin located in the inaccessible region of Sheogorad, north of the Dunmer stronghold of Valenvaryon. It can be seen from the shore near Valenvaryon.

Nchardahrk

Nchardahrk[edit]

Nchardahrk is a Dwemer ruin located in the inaccessible Sheogorad region, north of the Valley of the Wind Wayshrine. It can be seen from the shore near the wayshrine and the ruin of Kushtashpi.

Onnissiralis[edit]

Onnissiralis is a Daedric ruin located in the inaccessible region of Sheogorad, north of the Dunmer stronghold of Valenvaryon and just next to Assurdirapal. It can be (barely) seen behind Assurdirapal from the shore near Valenvaryon.

Sanni

Sanni[edit]

Sanni is a Velothi tower located in the inaccessible Sheogorad region, north of the Daedric ruin of Kushtashpi. It can be seen from the shore near the ruin.

Red Mountain and Surrounding Areas[edit]

Red Mountain is the volcanic region in the center of Vvardenfell, which is mostly inaccessible due to steep slopes and invisible walls in some places. However, there are some gaps where it's possible to get in. Portions of the Ashlands and Molag Amur are also in this inaccessible region.

Arkngthand
Arkngthand from a distance

Arkngthand[edit]

Arkngthand is a Dwemer ruin located in the inaccessible part of Molag Amur, just east of Balmora. There is a path leading up to it, but a large fence blocks the way. Its giant towers, dome and telescope make it easy to spot from the area around Balmora and Assarnatamat.

Dagoth-Ur

Dagoth-Ur[edit]

Dagoth-Ur is the lava-filled peak of Red Mountain, a large volcano located in the center of the island.

Druscashti

Druscashti[edit]

Druscashti is a Dwemer ruin located in the inaccessible part of the northern Ashlands, between the Urshilaku Camp and Ald Carac. It cannot be approached, but it can be seen from the nearby area.

Endusal

Endusal[edit]

Endusal is a Dwemer ruin located east of Ald'ruhn.

Kogoruhn

Kogoruhn[edit]

Kogoruhn is a Chimer stronghold that was constructed by the Sixth House. While an inaccessible version is seen on the zone map, a more detailed Kogoruhn can be visited in the Forgotten Wastes.

Shishara

Shishara[edit]

Shishara is a Velothi tower located northeast of Arkngthand. A more detailed (but also inaccessible) version is found in Foyada Quarry.

Ularradallaku

Ularradallaku[edit]

Ularradallaku is a Daedric ruin located just east of Skar. The battleground of Ularra takes place inside of it.

Other[edit]

Shrine of Boethiah

Shrine of Boethiah[edit]

The Shrine of Boethiah is a half-sunken Daedric ruin located in the Inner Sea, west of Ashurnibibi. It cannot be approached because of the slaughterfish.

Regions[edit]

Solstheim[edit]

Solstheim is an island found northwest of the Urshilaku Camp in the West Gash. It is located far away from the coast and only a small area of it can be seen.

Stonefalls[edit]

The Stonefalls are the central part of the Morrowind mainland, found south of Vivec City. While the region itself is present in-game, the version seen from Vvardenfell does not detail it very much, and shows a number of trees and mushrooms as structures. Bal Foyen also seems to be part of it.

Telvanni Peninsula[edit]

The Telvanni Peninsula is a large peninsula that makes up the northeastern part of the Morrowind mainland. It is found east of Vvardenfell, and can be reached closest at Tel Branora, Anudnabia, and Tel Mora. There are many large mushrooms present in some parts of it.

Velothi Mountains[edit]

The Velothi Mountains region is a large strip of coastline that makes up the northwestern part of the Morrowind mainland. It is found west of Vvardenfell, and can be reached closest at Yasammidan and Firemoth Island. There are many trees and mushrooms located on it.
