Oaxiltso

Oaxiltso is an Argonian behemoth and a member of the Sul-Xan tribe who can be found in the Ruined Springs of Rockgrove. He is the first boss of the trial.

Unlike most behemoths, his scales are red; Dust-On-Scales believes this to be some form of corruption, possibly resulting from Oaxiltso being altered somehow by Flame-Herald Bahsei's Daedric magic.

Skills and Abilities

Marsh Masher

A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage.

Ravenous Chomp

Oaxiltso performs a deep bite at his target, dealing massive physical damage. This can be blocked.

Savage Blitz

Oaxiltso charges forward and chomps the farthest target, dealing massive physical damage. This can be blocked.

Fiery Stomp

Oaxiltso performs a series of three stomping attacks, first stomping each of his feet, and ending with a jumping stomp. All three release flaming trails outward which deal high flame damage each. There isn't any AoE indicator during this ability.

Blistering Smash

Oaxiltso slams his fists into the ground, exploding the earth struck, as indicated by a large red circle. The initial hit deals very high physical damage, and the lingering area deals continuous high flame damage. This can be performed both up close or standing further away, spawning the cracked earth near his target.

Noxious Sludge

Oaxiltso retches poison on two targets in the party, prioritzing those in the center of the arena if he can, otherwise he will select random targets. Poisoned targets will take ramping poison damage and drop Noxious Pools (small poison AOE) at their feet until they cleanse the effect. The effect can only be cleansed by walking into the pools in the corners of the arena.

Summon Havocrel Annihilators

At 90%/75%/50%/25% health, Oaxiltso howls to Mehrunes Dagon for aid, causing an Havocrel Annihilator to fall from the sky into the arena, in a blast indicated by a red circle, dealing high flame damage. These must be burned down as quickly as possible when they appear.

Summon Death Hoppers

Occasionally, Death Hoppers are summoned during the fight to assist.
