If you choose to help Fanrel and after killing off the family of the Lhurgash Clan, you can speak to her:

After completing the quest if you refused to help Fanrel, you'll find Nielas back with Egannor:

"I can't stop hearing Halalin screaming. What were they doing to him? I don't want to know."
