Quest-Related Events[edit]
Approaching her:
- "Curse that mammoth! How is something that big be so elusive?"
When spoken to, she'll caution you:
- "Tread lightly now. The timber mammoth is as rare and skittish as they come. I nearly had it, but the damned birds spooked it."
- You're hunting a timber mammoth?
- "That's what I said, isn't it? The mammoth went into the water and I lost its trail. Care to try your hand at tracking it?"
- How do I track the mammoth?
- "Crouch low and look for traces of its passing. Mammoths aren't the most graceful creatures. Look for tracks, broken branches and the like.
Track it, kill it, and bring me its tusk as proof." - I will bring you the mammoth tusk.
Speaking to her again:
- "Look out for evidence of the mammoth's path, and good luck!"
Return with the ivory:
- "Was your hunt successful?"
- I've got the mammoth tusk.
- "Not bad. Not bad at all, to kill a rare specimen such as that. You'd make a fine member of the Hounds someday. They're a company of trophy hunters. I've been with them for years now and I've never seen anyone as quick a study as you."
If you exit out of the conversation before turning in the quest, she will alternatively say:
- "Did the mammoth escape again? You'd be surprised how such a large animal can disappear so quickly."
- Here's the mammoth's tusk as proof of the kill. (Lead to quest completion dialogue)
After the quest:
- "I haven't seen tracking like that since Haras was leader of the Hounds."
- Who's Haras?
- "A legendary Hound. He's obsessed with this mythical Senche, but his hunting companions never return. I heard he was near Verrant Morass."
