He is frightened when you come upon him, claiming to have seen a ghost nearby.
- "Cannot one set up a simple shop in peace? A ghost—one swears it was a ghost, haunting the lower platform.
Oh, my shop!"
After Dark Knowledge is complete, he will have gotten over his fear.
- "One may fear ghosts, but this one fears starvation more. Give but a little time, and a shop of such wonders will be set up!"
