Mad Griskild is a Nord worshipper of Sheogorath who has been experimenting with mind-control spiders in the ruins of Bal Fell.

Skill and Abilities

Since Mad Griskild is a melee weapon-user fear mage, the only ability he will cast in-between light attacks is the fear skull. Otherwise, his only other unique ability is that he can summon a group of weak spiders that leave corrupted pool AoEs as they land and die.

Quest-Related Events

Enter the ruins with Lady Clarisse Laurent and Stibbons and you'll hear a voice from deeper within the ruins:

Mad Griskild: "Ah, you brought friends to the dance! Come in, come in! There's room for you all!"

Follow Lady Laurent further in and you'll find Stibbons, Dralane Elarven, and Mehdbeq dancing to the music of spirit bards and Mad Griskild himself. As soon as he sees you he'll attack and force you to "dance".

Mad Griskild: "Ahaha! Come to join our dance?"

Mad Griskild: "Dance! Shake your nethers for the Mad God!"

Defeat him to stop the madness:

Mad Griskild: "No! The dance must not be interrupted!"
