Overseer Shiralas asked if I could head into the swamp and look for her missing wife, Varona, and their pet Drooler.
Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Find some Argonian ruins.
- Blow whistle and interact with Drooler.
- Follow Drooler to Varona.
- Speak with Varona.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
At Sweet Breeze Overlook you'll find Shiralas. She needs your help. Varona is missing. She will give you a whistle to summon their pet, Drooler. She says if you find Drooler, pet him, and tell him he's a good boy, he'll lead you to Varona. Head west a short distance. Follow Shiralas's directions and Drooler will lead you, past a Salamander, past a River Troll, and eventually to Varona. Speak with her to complete the quest.
Notes[edit]
- Your player character uses their hand to whistle instead of the physical whistle provided by Overseer Shiralas.
- Shiralas, Varona and Drooler can be found in Bright-Throat Village after completing the quest.

Overseer Shiralas gave me a whistle and told me to use it to summon their pet, Drooler. She said if I pet Drooler and tell him he's a good boy, he'll lead me to Varona.
Objective: Use Drooler's Whistle
Objective Hint: Find Argonian Stonework
|
|
Drooler appeared as soon as I blew the whistle. I should pet Drooler and tell him he's a good boy so he will lead me to Varona.
Objective: Pet Drooler
|
|
Drooler wants me to follow him. Maybe he'll lead me to Varona.
Objective: Follow Drooler
|
|
Drooler led me right to Varona. I should speak to her and see what happened.
Objective: Talk to Varona Beloren

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
