Long-Cast is an Argonian found in the Gray Mire. She is a possible initiator of the quest, Scars Never Fade. She can be found sitting eating a loaf of bread, or fishing.

Dialogue[edit]
You can start the quest with her if you haven't already:
- "A soldier already told me to return to the Gray Mire. But let me fish a little longer, all right? I'll head back shortly."
- Soldiers? What soldiers?
- "If you aren't a soldier, I really shouldn't speak with you. They said we should send outsiders to Officer Parwinel. She's in the tent just north of the Gray Mire.
I'm sorry, I should really get back to fishing." - I'll speak with Officer Parwinel.
Speaking to her again:
- "The soldiers don't want us speaking with outsiders. Officer Parwinel can explain. She's by the northern barricade around the Gray Mire."
Before you attend the meeting of the Argonian tribe leaders:
- "Such a fine day for fishing. I'll be out here a while longer, and then I'll return home. I promise."
If the Argonians were allowed to stay:
- "So we have you to thank. That's good, you're good. Cracked open my finest fishwine to celebrate.
The hardest part is fishing out all the chunks. Ha! Fish. Because it's made from … what was I saying?"
Notes[edit]
- If you start the quest with Long-Cast, she speaks as if she's currently fishing, but she'll be seated at the camp eating. Because she's a quest starter, it's possible she was originally placed at the edge of The Gray Mire (probably on the shore) so you could start the quest upon entering the area, but was later moved by the developers without changing her dialogue.
