Depending on your choices during a quest, Lady Sulima will later on either be found at Quen's hideout in Abah's Landing, or forced to take up begging in the city's harbor.

A Double Life[edit]
Once you enter the secret room in the Manor, you can find Lady Sulima. Quen will immediately start questioning her.
- Quen: "You! Why do you have my father's things?"
- Lady Sulima: "Tu'whacca's breath! Saroldo's daughter stands before me. Why are you in Abah's Landing instead of your academy?"
- Quen: "I'm looking for my father! Why do you know who I am?"
- Lady Sulima: "My dear child... he's gone. When the Iron Wheel came for him, he fled to the rooftops. They gave chase and he fell. I'm so sorry."
- Quen: "You're lying!"
- Lady Sulima: "No, child. I grieve for him every day. He was the only person I've ever loved."
Quen will ask you to speak to Lady Sulima, while she tries to process what she learnt.
- "You are a friend to Saroldo's daughter? This must be much for her to take in. Please, ask what you will."
- If Quen's father is dead, why didn't you tell her?
- ""Quen." What a lovely name! It's the first time my ears have heard it.
Saroldo kept all but the simplest details of his daughter from everyone. Would that he had done the same with me." - What do you mean?
- "After Saroldo's death, the Iron Wheel learned of our connection and sent a letter requesting an interview. What fortune I possessed now goes to the mercenaries guarding my home.
Should I leave the manor, the Iron Wheel will certainly detain me." - What does the Iron Wheel want with you?
- "I wondered that as well. Saroldo did his private work in this room, and recently I had it searched.
I found a ledger, but I can't make sense of the symbols. Perhaps it is best in Quen's hands." - I'll give it to her.
- "I am most thankful.
I only trust my guards as long as I can pay them, so you would do best to leave discreetly. There is a hidden exit to the street. And Quen is welcome to visit, should she ever desire it."
Talking to Lady Sulima again before leaving will show her concern for Quen.
- "Saroldo had a small portrait of Quen—made of wax, small enough to fit in his hand. Even there, you could see what a vibrant young woman she was.
I fear my ill news took that from her."
His Greatest Treasure[edit]
After searching for Saroldo's Treasure and unexpectedly meeting mercenaries from Sulmia mansion, Lady Sulima will arrive.
- Quen: "Those were Lady Sulima's mercenaries! What were they doing here?"
- Lady Sulima: "Quen? You weren't supposed to be here!"
- Quen: "Lady Sulima?"
- Lady Sulima: "This is all wrong! They weren't supposed to hurt anyone!"
- <Lady Sulima runs away.>
- Quen: "Wait! Get back here!"
- <Quen follows.>
You can find Lady Sulima at a small camp and Quen will be too angry to speak. You can talk to the Lady to see what explanation she has.
- "Please, I never meant to harm anyone! The mercenaries who protect my home … they overheard Quen and I speak of treasure.
I promised them a share, and the rest I planned to give to Quen. You must believe me!" - Why would you do that?
- "It was the only way to provide their salary. The Iron Wheel never set foot in my home, yet everything of value has gone to keeping them at bay.
None of my fortune remains." - That sounds like an excuse.
- "It is no excuse. I told myself, "Saroldo would want you to have a small portion of his treasure." But he already gave me years of his life that he could not provide to Quen.
I was foolish. Please, forgive me."- You were desperate. You made a mistake. But only Quen can forgive you.
- You betrayed Quen. You don't deserve a second chance.
If Quen forgives Lady Sulima:
- Quen: "Living with fear … you lie, you steal … you worry if the ones you love can accept what you've become. Of course I forgive you, Lady Sulima."
- Lady Sulima: "Oh, my dear child! I don't deserve your forgiveness."
- Quen: "Hush, now. I'll bring you to a place where you'll be safe. It's where I live—and where you will, too."
When you talk with Lady Sulima, she will be surprised, "I did not expect such mercy."
Once you complete the quest, Lady Sulima will make a promise.
- "Thank you for swaying Quen's heart. I will earn her forgiveness. This, I swear to you."
If Quen doesn't forgive Lady Sulima:
- Quen: "You said I was the daughter you never had. Well, you're a liar. You'll get nothing from me but contempt."
- Lady Sulima: "Please! I won't be safe in my own home! What am I to do?"
- Quen: "I don't care. It's your life, and I will have no part in it."
Speak to her before finishing the quest with Quen:
- "I deserve such cruelty."
After finishing the quest, she'll say:
- "I shall hide, if I must. The Iron Wheel took Saroldo from me—I would sooner die than bring harm to his daughter."
Dialogue[edit]
Once you have found Saroldo's Treasure and made a decision about Lady Sulima, she can be met around Abah's Landing. Her location entirely depending on the previous choice.
If Quen forgave her, she can be found up in Quen's retreat, admiring the view.
- "I've never noticed how beautiful Abah's Landing actually is. Sitting here, watching the city … it reminds me how lucky I am.
As do you."
However, if Quen spurned her, Lady Sulima will be forced to leave her home and have to resort to begging down at the docks.
- "Coin? Spare a coin?
Anything … just one coin …"
