A Knight of the Dragon

The Knights of the Dragon are Breton soldiers from the eponymous order, and are sworn to serve the royal family of Daggerfall. They can be seen guarding in the area around Daggerfall Castle.

A number of knights will go to Cath Bedraud to assist in stopping Angof the Gravesinger, but ended up being separated from the rest of the allied reinforcements.

Quest-Related Events

After you've been sent to investigate the docks during Bloodthorn Assassins, they can be spoken with.

"Don't worry, no one will get past us, not so long as we draw breath!"

They will help cover the retreat of King Casimir when the Bloodthorn Assassin attacks:

Knight of the Dragon : "Head upstairs and protect the King!"

Knight of the Dragon : "Go! The King fled toward the stairs!"

After you have saved King Casimir, they will recognize you as you approach the castle and salute. Sometimes, Friendly knights will call out.

Knight of the Dragon: "It's you! Huzzah!"

Knight of the Dragon: "The hero of Daggerfall! I'm honored!"

Knight of the Dragon: "Look, It's the hero who saved King Casimir!"

Knight of the Dragon: "Hey, you saved the King!"

They also have some ambient dialogue they can say if you interact with them or pass by them. These lines are not subtitled.

"Honor and steel!"

"In the name of the king!"

"For the knights of the king!"
