You will encounter the spirits of the Kalmur Clan near the Vow of Consumption. They will say the following lines:

Once you reach the Ravener, before you fight it, the spirit will say:

"Someone kill that beast!"

And once you find the Scrying Orb, they will say:

"Please, let this torture end. I beg you."
