Dialogue[edit]
The Song of Kingdoms[edit]
When you first enter the Hall, you will find Izanji and Iraya arguing:
- Iraya: "We don't have a choice, Izanji!"
- Izanji: "And what, you expect us to just stroll into an Akaviri crypt? Be reasonable."
- Iraya: "Well, if we don't recover those mural pieces, who will?"
If you try to speak with him, he will direct you to his sister:
- "Go speak to my sister if you seek help. I am far too distraught to deal with any patrons today."
After you have spoken with Iraya he will mention the importance of the stolen mural:
- "You have agreed to help us? Thank Jone and Jode.
Patrons have been few and far between of late. We need that mural if the House of Histories is to keep its doors open."
When you have retrieved a mural fragment from the Tomb of the Serpents, you can return to the museum, where Izanji will be waiting for you.
- Izanji: "Hmm? Ah, you've returned. Let us speak."
- "Greetings, greetings. Were you able to find the missing mural pieces?"
- I recovered one piece of the mural. Rajhin's Shadow stole them.
- "If you want to pull my tail, you could at least try a bit harder than that.
Really, what would Rajhin's Shadow want with the Rithana-di-Renada? It might have historical significance, but it's certainly not a prize worthy of the trickster god." - That's what he told me.
- "Sure, sure. Just let me know if you meet Jone and Jode next, yes? We could use some brighter Moons.
Why don't you just place the mural piece back in its frame? Iraya should return shortly. You can speak to her about the other missing pieces."
At this point Iraya will return after you place the mural piece. If you talk to Izanji he will say, "There's Iraya now. Go see what she thinks of your tale."
After you have spoken with Iraya, Izanji will plead that you continue to find the rest of the pieces:
- "Please, you must find the other mural pieces. Our museum's reputation is on the line!"
Once you have placed all sixteen pieces, he will be pleased:
- "Finally, the mural is whole once more! I can already hear our lovely patrons gasping in awe."
The Singing Crystal[edit]
After Iraya asks you to check the Rithana-di-Renada for missing pieces, Izanji will be skeptical:
- "Iraya believes the mural can actually sing? Bah. My sister takes the old tales far too literally."
Once you approach the mural, he will quickly change his tune:
- Rajhin's Shadow : "Looking for something? Rajhin is here to help."
- Izanji : "Rajhin! It's—it's actually the Shadow of Rajhin! Iraya, look."
- Iraya : "I see him. Stop messing with my museum, you muskarse!"
Izanji will advise you to not keep the spirit waiting:
- "Rajhin's Shadow! Here in our museum! I cannot believe it.
Well, what are you waiting for? Trust me, you do not wish to make the avatar of a trickster god impatient."
After speaking to Rajhin's Shadow, Izanji will warn you:
- "Best to do as Rajhin's Shadow says, yes? It would not be wise to anger our unexpected guest."
Once you've acquired the Singing Crystal and returned to the House of Histories, you'll find Izanji addressing an audience:
- Izanji : "We appreciate your patience, good lords and ladies. The viewing will begin in but a few short moments."
Speak to him and he'll only say:
- "You have the singing crystal, thank Jone and Jode! I was afraid you would fail and invite Rajhin's wrath upon us all."
Once the mural begins to sing, Izanji will admit he was wrong for doubting Iraya:
- "I should have never doubted my brilliant sister. This Song of Kingdoms, it is simply wonderful. And wonderfully popular too, by the look of things!"
After completing the quest, he'll be thinking ahead:
- "At last, the House of Histories can flourish!
Our patrons will be many, our reputation fragrant. And, most importantly, the gold will start flowing in! Oh, I can already picture it."
The Heir of Anequina[edit]
If the mural was recovered, he will turn up at Khamira's coronation and greet you with:
