Dialogue[edit]
They have wares to sell in the archive:
- "Ah! A customer. You surprised me. I didn't think anyone would be here so quickly. I haven't even adjusted all my prices to cover value differences across the Aurbis.
No matter, you are a customer. All prices are final!" - "I studied up. I prepared. I can do this. I can be a merchant.
If you just indicate what you want, we can trade for it and all will be well." - "Keep your teeth and appendages to yourself and I'll let you look at my inventory."
- "Look, I'm not as experienced as Filer Tezurs or Ool when it comes to selling the items you are looking for. So, I will not engage in haggling.
I don't think the others haggle either. No haggling in the archive!" - "Oh, hello. Are you here to exchange one good for another? Uh … great.
How about you look through what I could give you and then we make the valuable swap? Yes, that sounds like a reasonable plan." - "What do you want!
Oh, right. I'm a merchant. You want to buy something. That's allowed." - "You want to look at my goods? Not the other merchants'? All right. We can have a perfectly serviceable interaction without too much talking.
Please don't ask me any questions."
