Quest-Related Events

When you reach Close Rapport with Zerith-var, he will approach you after receiving a letter from High Cantor Viti asking to meet with him, and you near Pa'alat. Due to their past interactions, he is suspicious of the request. On the advice of Cantor Krin'ze, you go to the town and ask the locals about what they have seen recently, before going to the meeting spot.

Felaga is one of the people you can approach:

"Hey, five-claw! Spare some gold for a humble Khajiit trying to get out Pa'alat?"

Why do you want to leave Pa'alat?

"It's hard enough to get by, and now there's talk of a Twilight Cantor coming through town!
A bad omen, if you ask Felaga. Are the shadows so long we need an exorcist to cast them out? This one has no wish to stay and find out."

Did you see this Twilight Cantor yourself?

She will then hand you the Summons of the Inquisition which you can read.

After you have asked around, you can return to Felaga and she will say:

"Be wary, traveler. The swill they pour here works better as a boot cleaner than as a way to slake your thirst.
This one swears, no cat north of Tenmar seems able to make a decent drink."
