Thalinfar instructs you to speak with Englor in front of the fort. He is relieved by your presence.

"Thank the Green! Where are you coming from? Silvenar or Arenthia? We've been desperate for reinforcements."

Actually, a priestess of the lunar clergy told me to come help you.

"A priestess of the ... what? We were attacked here! A dark creature, I think it was a Khajiit! The Mane attacked us!"

Hallowed To Grimwatch

Kauzanabi-jo will ask of you to speak with Englor. He will be puzzled that the message was sent from the lunar clergy:

"Thank the Green! Where are you coming from? Silvenar or Arenthia? We've been desperate for reinforcements."

Actually, a priestess of the lunar clergy told me to come help you.

"A priestess of the ... what? We were attacked here! A dark creature, I think it was a Khajiit! The Mane attacked us!"

The Dark Mane

If Lord Gharesh-ri sends you to Grimwatch from Silvenar, he'll say:

"Thank the Green! Where are you coming from? Silvenar or Arenthia? We've been desperate for reinforcements."

What are you talking about?

"We were attacked. Savaged by a dark creature … and I think it was a Khajiit. The Mane!"

Grim Situation

Approaching him:

"Soldier! Over here! We're over here!"

If you did not start Moons Over Grimwatch or The Dark Mane, you can find him at the entrance to the fort, Vinedusk Village-side.

"Thank the Green, reinforcements! Where are you coming from?"

However, after either Moons Over Grimwatch, Hallowed To Grimwatch or The Dark Mane, he will greet you with the following:

"So, you haven't been briefed? News travels slower than honeymead in the field."

From here, the dialogue is the same:

I'm not with any reinforcements. What's going on?

"Damn it. Without reinforcements Fort Grimwatch has fallen. And not from assault by an army. We were taken from within by Dro-m'Athra spirits! It was the Mane that let them loose!"

What happened? Dro-m'Athra?

"I'm not the one to tell the tale. The Lunar Champions themselves are leading the fight to hold the fort.
Let me take you to Shazah. She can tell you what you need to know."

Lead the way.

He then leads you to Shazah in the Grimwatch Tree.

Englor: "Follow me."

When you enter the city:

Englor: "There are just a few of us left. I don't know how much longer we can hold."

Englor: "The Colovians were at our doorstep. Ask Shazah about that. Now some of them are hiding within the fort."

Climbing the Grimwatch Tree:

Englor: "Shazah is up here. Mind your feet."

Speaking to him when inside the tree:

"Shazah will be able to tell you all you need to know. Watch your steps."

Notes

• Englor's last line is "Watch your steps", but the subtitles add ", traveler." This is eventually changed.
