"You're not thinking about taking him on, are you?"
Slavers are using Steelheart Moorings as their base of operations and they're holding some sailors who they recently captured. The first mate has asked me to help free the sailors from the slavers' clutches.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Speak to First Mate Elvira Derre outside of Steelheart Moorings.
  2. Collect a burning log from a nearby campfire.
  3. Burn some tents and the stolen goods.
  4. Find the key.
  5. Rescue Elvira's crewmembers.
  6. Find Elvira.

Notes[edit]

  • The cave can be accessed before starting the quest or reaching the relevant objective. The prisoners will already be there but they cannot be interacted with.
  • The slaver captain's house can be accessed before starting the quest or reaching the relevant objective.
  • It is possible to free Elvira without having to defeat Ma'jhad.

Objective: Free Elvira's Crewmates
Now that the captives are freed, I should return to the surface and find First Mate Elvira Derre.

Something's happened to the first mate. I should speak to this injured sailor to find out what happened.

The slavers' leader, the infamous Ma'jhad Kha, has taken the first mate the hostage and fled down the beach. I should go after them.
Objective: Rescue Elvira
Hidden Objective: Kill Ma'jhad Kha

  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
