The Dark Spirit of Arum-Khal is the spirit of Arum-Khal which can be found in his realm after his physical form is destroyed. It will need to be dealt with before he can reconstitute himself.

Will shoot shadow magic from his staff, causing minor magical damage.

Wave of Darkness

With a wave of his hand, several small moving purple AOEs will radiate from in front of him.

Weight of the Void

Shadowy forces will pick you up and then slam you down into the ground hard.

Summoning the Darkness

When the spirit's health hits a certain point, it will disappear and a ring of shadowy spirits called Darkness will surround you. As you fight them off, you will eventually be able to use the Moonlight Blade on them which will automatically kill them. He will continue to summon them until defeated.

Quest-Related Events

When you approach him in the shadow realm, he will be annoyed that you followed him here:

Dark Spirit of Arum-Khal: "You dare to face me here? Come, then, and join Shando in the void!"

Summoning Darkness:

Dark Spirit of Arum-Khal: "Weakling! I'll rend your soul to pieces!"

Dark Spirit of Arum-Khal: "There is no escape! I am my realm, and my realm is me!"

Once he is defeated, the realm will become unstable.

Bugs

• After he disappears the first time during fight, his model may become invisible after it returns, but you can still attack him.
  • Use AOE attacks in the area he is in until the NPC is killed.
