Cipher Akacirn

Cipher Akacirn is a member of the Ciphers of the Eye who can be found within his hidden ritual site in the Apogee of the Tormenting Eye. He is responsible for the deaths of several fellow ciphers in his attempt to gain the Numinous Rite to become immortal.

Quest-Related Events

After you help Cipher Plautis recover the three Numinous Grimore volumes, she will have you track down and stop Akacirn. You learn of Akacirn's location and how to disrupt the ritual from Uldazaan the Heresy-Keeper and find the ritual site with the Apogee of the Tormenting Eye.

As you walk down the passage, you will hear Akacirn comment:

Cipher Akacirn: "Yes … it's working. My soul will soon be free of this failing flesh …."

When you enter the ritual room, you will find Akacirn's spirit floating above his corpse, he soon notices you:

Cipher Akacirn: "Leave me be, stranger! This is no concern of yours. Go!"

After you disrupt four parts of the ritual, he will make a final plea:

Cipher Akacirn: "You must stop this at once! I'm so close to ascending from this old flesh."

Cipher Akacirn: "I am so close to my goal, you must stop this madness now!"

You ignore him and set fire to his corpse, which also causes his spirit to burn:

Cipher Akacirn: "No! No! I'm not finished! I'm … not …."

<The body and spirit burns away.>
