Quest-Related Events

Burz is first found lying on the ground having his wounds tended to by Umbolwe. If you speak to him before Baroness Eliana Cossa he will say:

"Are you our promised reinforcements? Not the most impressive sight I've ever seen, but if you'll raise a blade in our defense then you've got my respect."

Can you tell me anything about the siege?

"Only that it was quick. Organized. I was off duty today, but once I heard screams I sprang into action. Cut down what I could before being nearly torn in two myself."

If you speak to him after the baroness he will offer a word of warning.

"Watch your back in there. Those creatures are faster than they look."

He will be found later outside of town with the rescued townsfolk. If you speak to him before the baroness he will say:

"Speak with the baroness, I'm still trying to recover from my wounds and our little conversations are tiring."

Speak to him after the baroness but before completing the quest and he won't be very talkative:

"Ack, leave me be. There are others who could use your help."

Complete the quest and speak to him once more to hear his thanks and his plans:

"Seems I underestimated your aid, traveler. Thank you for saving the lives you could."

What's next for you?

"I'll sharpen my sword and get back into the fray as soon as the pain in my chest subsides. You've stopped the flow of monsters, but I'm certain Leftwheal will remain infested for some time."
