Quest-Related Events[edit]
Before the quest, she will be sweeping and will talk about her work:
- "Sweeping up after a bunch of rowdy road workers is an endless task."
After the rieklings crash the party, she will be sitting on the porch:
- "Everything happened so quickly."
When you need to talk to the survivors, she can give her account of the attack:
- "I'm lucky to be alive, I guess. But I don't feel lucky. Just sad."
- Do you remember how you were injured?
- "I'm trying, really I am. I remember coming out here to get some fresh air. For a bard, he sang like a wolf with its paw in a trap. No, he wasn't that good.
I got tired all of a sudden. Probably drank my mead too quickly." - Then what happened?
- "I honestly can't recall. Did I fall asleep?
I remember a sudden pain. Something or someone stabbed me. There were noises, but it all seems … foggy or something." - So you didn't see anything unusual?
- "I'm sorry. That's all I've got. Bad singing, falling asleep, and getting stabbed.
But other than that, it was a great party!"
After the quest is complete if you choose to free Valding, she will say:
- "That bard returned. The tale he told us was frightening, but he had good things to say about you."
