The Bone Goliath is summoned by Zerith-var during his training session with Moon-Singer Ravith in the Zhan Khaj Adeptorium. When Ravith sings her new song, it is obliterated which disturbs Zerith-var greatly.

At this, you can interact with the second light and see what happens next:

<Moon-Singer Ravith begins singing and the Bone Goliath disappears in a burst of light, with Zerith-var being thrown back.>

<Moon-Singer Ravith runs over to Zerith-var and crouches beside him.>
