Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Just inside the entrance of Knife Ear Grotto, you'll find a note posted on the wall.
- "Greetings, traveler,
I post this warning in the hope that you will heed it. This ruin is overrun with a number of dangerous Daedra and their followers. Do not venture forth unless you are adequately armed and prepared." - <Continue reading.>
- "If, however, you do choose to venture into this cave, keep your eyes open for anything of value. I will reward you for recovering any artifacts that I could not. Find me at the Daedric ruins near Narsis.
— Aralyon the Scholar"
Fight your way through the delve and grab the Daedric Artifact behind Drulshasa. Once you have it, find Aralyon at the shrine just east of Narsis and hand him the pot. He rewards you with some gold.

) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
