Explanations?

This isn't a quest, per se. It shows up in your quest log, if I remember correctly, but cannot ever be completed. It's more along the lines of what happens when you finish the mages or fighters guild quests. If you go back to the Cheydinhal sanctuary once you've finished the Honor Thy Mother quest, you'll be informed of your duties as listener. If I remember it correctly, once a week you can go to Bravil and activate the Lucky Old Lady statue to hear a list of names of people who have petitioned the Dark Mother to have others murdered. Give those names to your assistant at the sanctuary and contracts will be issued, and you'll collect 200 gold. Nothing much more to it. Quillan^Talk 17:08, 17 March 2007 (EDT)

Exhausting the List

No, it's completely random. That means that in theory you could get the same mission twice in a row, although there are enough options to make that unlikely. –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 00:39, 30 June 2008 (EDT)

Oh yeah. I goofed and gave the stat for a specific combo twice in a row, but of course, you've already got your first and you're only trying to repeat it once. It is quite possible it would have no effect on the quest you are attempting to do. However when doing things like this you are just inviting script errors.--24.208.30.87 23:36, 30 April 2010 (UTC)
