Dialogue Trigger

Does wearing this item trigger the "Hey, you're the hero Kvatch" dialogue from NPC's or is simply completion of the "Breaking the Siege of Kvatch" quest that triggers the dialogue?70.208.32.253 11:27, 1 June 2008 (EDT)

I believe it's just completing the quest that triggers it. I'm not sure if the cuirass has an effect. --Darth NANAME 11:31, 1 June 2008 (EDT)

It's nothing to do with the cuirass. To get that line the guard must have a disposition of 50+ with you, you must have got to stage 90 in the Breaking the Siege of Kvatch quest but not have completed the main quest, and the guard must be in the Imperial Legion and be a male Imperial. –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 01:05, 2 June 2008 (EDT)

Actualy rpeh you can do it with any imperial with a disposition of 50+ because I remember citizens saying younger the hero of kvatch--Thedrunknord 02:14, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

When is the level for the cuirass determined?

I'm on level 13 and want to do the Battle for Castle Kvatch before the daedra become too powerful. If I did the quest now and don't talk to Savlian Matius until I am level 25+, will I get the level 10-14 cuirass or the level 25+ cuirass? — Unsigned comment by 112.213.135.26 (talk) at 07:15 on 1 May 2011‎
