Why "Zero" value?[edit]
How many books have Zero value? Is this book part of a broken quest? With obvious exceptions (handbills, notes, recipes), most written word items of Zero value are part of a quest. Does holding this book open new conversation options with the Gray Fox or other Thieves' Guild members, in the same way holding The Armorer's Challenge allows you to answer Gin-Wulm's query properly (as opposed to having just read the book, you have to keep it in your inventory when talking to him)? - I am almost positive that this book does nothing other than work as a normal skill book. I'll check the CS though when I get home later, if nobody else has confirmed. --DKong27 Talk Cont 14:47, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

- Oops, my mistake, I thought it was a skill book. But there is nothing special about it. It has no script to speak of, and is not referenced by any others. It is not labeled generically in the CS like most books, which suggests it may have been intended to serve some purpose, but it doesn't now. --DKong27 Talk Cont 18:16, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

- What does "labeled generically" mean? Do special/stat-building/marker-adding books have an asterisk on them in the construction kit? Predcon 20:29, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
