Location[edit]
It looks cool and strong in the picture but What city/fort is it at? — Unsigned comment by 75.25.145.64 (talk) on 6 November 2008
- As it says on the article, you have to complete Boethia's quest. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 01:07, 6 November 2008 (EST)
False Statement[edit]
the line stating that this sword has the most raw damage on the game is not true, umbra has a higher damage rating at 28— Unsigned comment by 82.43.241.126 (talk) on 5 July 2009
- Unless I don't understand what raw damage is, I think you're right. I will change that note accordingly. Wolok gro-Barok 18:17, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, I believe the previous version of the page was correct. Goldbrand does more base damage because while its physical damage is only 25, it also deals 22 points of fire damage. –Eshetalk 00:50, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, base weapon damage doesn't include damage due to magical enchantments. click on the link in the page for damage; base weapon damage is actually a variable in damage calculation, and doesn't include any damage from the weapons enchantments.
- Yeah but goldbrand is still more powerful than umbra even if umbra has a few more points of raw damage goldbrand beats it by miles with the 22 fire damage so with 100 blade and strength goldbrands damage is 49. — Unsigned comment by 81.158.55.142 (talk) on 24 August 2010

Related quest[edit]
Should artifacts have a Related Quest section like NPCs? I think it would make it easier for readers to see what quest the artifact is obtained at. -- Jplatinum16 22:28, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- Related Quest usually (always?) refers to something that is involved in the progress of a quest rather than its reward. I can see it would be a good idea to mention it, though. I prefer this example from Oblivion, or this from Morrowind - refer to the quest in the text.
- This isn't just splitting hairs. If we mention quest rewards in the RQ section, there will be a LOT of pages that need modifying... and it won't often result in a clearer page. –rpeh•T•C•E• 23:25, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- Good point. The number of pages we would have change would be astonishing. I do like the examples you brought up; it would be much easier to make sure a quest reward's page has the referred quest clear in the text. Thanks for the good input, Rpeh :) -- Jplatinum16 00:23, 21 December 2009 (UTC)
