Raiment Disappeared
There was a bug in my game that caused the raiment to disapear when I placed it back into the armoire, and the object codes on this page did not work for me, does anyone have any ideas as to how to get it back? swiminatortalk 8/8/06
- Look at the ID code of the raiment. The second digit (usually a 0 in the editor) changes, depending on the order of the plugin file. Try it several times by changing that digit in the player.additem console command. Remember, these are hexadecimal codes, so you'll have to try it running from 1 to 9, and if that doesn't do it, try A, B, C, D, E, and F. QuillanTalk 09:23, 8 August 2006 (EDT)

Weird Bug
Hi guys. I just installed Vile Lair yesterday. I went down to the lair got the "I have arrived a Deepscorn Hollow" message and everything. But I have a slight problem. If I buy an upgrade and try to do any of the following : sleep/wait/save/leave the game will freeze and I have to reset my 360. I found Grewyn's journal and now my quest marker leads to him. In the hollow I found all of the caches and the dagger.
The only things I can think of are: Clear my cache, another plug-in is conflicting with it, I did something and screwed it up. If I have no other options I can remove it and reinstall it since I haven't bought any upgrades or stored anything in there. So, any help? Dinwrest 11:32, 1 January 2008 (EST)
When to enter
I want to get the higher level equipment from deepscorn hollow but I was just wondering, When is the level determined?I know that it is set when you download the plug-in but I have started again since I downloaded it so will it be at level 1 or will it be determined when I enter? — Unsigned comment by Bambobo (talk • contribs)
- Based on other players' experiences, any characters that have been started after you downloaded the plugin will receive level 1 equipment. (Bethesda comments suggest that problems like this are one reason why these mods were not bundled in with the GOTY edition: starting new characters with the mods installed doesn't really work as intended). You'll probably want to delete and re-install the plugin to get the better equipment. --NepheleTalk 19:24, 24 September 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks.--Bambobo
Jewellry caches
Where are these jewellry caches that the page mentions? I've found Greywin's four catches, but apparently there's another lot of caches that respawn. Also, do the items in Greywin's caches respawn? Tentacle 13:46, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- Hmmm, I'm having a hard time figuring that out. The only jewelry containers other than Greywyn's four caches are three containers, each labeled "Jewelry Box", that I believe are added by the upgrades (two in the Deepscorn Hollow area, one in Deepscorn Bastion). According to the CS data, they don't respawn. In fact, none of the containers in Deepscorn Hollow respawn other than the Purgeblood Crystal Formations. I'm not sure how to reconcile that with what the article currently says, although it's possible in the process of a few rewrites some speculation was turned into fact. So I think I'm going to delete that note, unless anyone can confirm in game that those jewelry boxes really do respawn.
- And according to the CS, no, Greywyn's caches do not respawn either. --NepheleTalk 16:48, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
Speaking of Caches, where are they? I can't find the dang things, and I've looked all over the hollow. I've got like 20K, so it's not really a big deal, but I want to find them. Do you need to purchase an upgrade? Helix
- Have you tried reading the section on Hard to Find Items? --NepheleTalk 20:29, 20 June 2007 (EDT)
A clever way to get a lot of money outta this would be to 1. gather all of the treasures 2. get outta there 3. save 4. DELETE YOUR DOWNLOAD 5. reload your game (it should say that "some changes have been made"<<<this is normal) 6. save 7. DOWNLOAD DEEPSCORN HOLLOW AGAIN 8. repeat until rich
The trick is, the player can re obtain the treasure within the cachesw. The FUNNY thing is, when you delete the download, the treasures that you found WILL STILL BE IN YOUR INVENTORY. You can repeat this until you have a wide abundance of jewelery and gold.
- Little thing that the article doesn't mention about the caches: they have random gems (leveled?) and sometimes silver/gold nuggets in them. Felindre 12:03, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
Merging
Merging = Good idea
- Well, of course it's a good idea. The merge tag wasn't put there because I wasn't sure if we should merge them. Clearly, there's no reason for there to be two pages. It's more a matter of how. Both pages already have a good bit of content, so going through and making sure that all the information is preserved, while not duplicating anything, that's going to be tricky with two pages of this size. Or should we just vote on which is better and delete the other one? I'd look into it, but I don't have the mod, so I know very little about it. Anybody else have any thoughts? --TheRealLurlock 00:53, 3 September 2006 (EDT)
- OK, the merge is now done. For anyone who looks at the page histories and is confused, I actually flipped the two pages in the process, so the page that now is named "The Vile Lair" and contains all the content is the page that was originally "Vile Lair". I then added in all the material from the other page (for anyone who wants to see its history, it is now at "Vile Lair"), so I'm pretty sure no information was lost in the process. I've still got a bit more cleanup to do, but the main chunk of work is done. --Nephele 18:07, 3 September 2006 (EDT)
The Salts
I was just wondering if the Purgeblood salts (i think thats what it was called) respawn? do they? — Unsigned comment by Irishguy42 (talk • contribs)
- I'm pretty sure I tested this at one point and that they did respawn. --Nephele 10:52, 11 January 2007 (EST)

Leveled items
Ok, so I got my crimson eviserator at level 1 not knowing it would get better if I waited. Will it still level with me, or will it only level before you pick it up from the box? Am I screwed? Do I have to start a new game if I want it to have its best stats or is there something else I can do? VegaDark 15:53, 13 October 2006 (EDT)
- Nope, the quality of leveled items is determined at the moment you get them and never changes. If it's that important to you that this one item have better stats you'll have to start a new game. --Nephele 16:07, 13 October 2006 (EDT)
- Meh, it's probably not important enough for this one item unless this is considered a GG end game item at max level. Is there a list of leveled items somewhere so I know what to avoid until I am higher? VegaDark 16:44, 13 October 2006 (EDT)
- Try Leveled Items. You might also want to look at the page Quest Timing. --Nephele 18:35, 13 October 2006 (EDT)

Ok, I picked up the Rainment of the Crimson scar at level 22 yet it's only giving me the level 1-4 enchantments (Agility + 3, Reflect damage 10% etc.) do those levels in the chart only apply to the computer version or what? — Unsigned comment by 67.184.103.195 (talk)
- Those levels apply to all versions of the game. Is there any chance that you bought all the upgrades for Deepscorn Hollow when you were still level 4, but just didn't open the chest with the raiment until you were level 22? Because it's very possible that the level of the raiment gets set at the time when you bought the upgrades. --Nephele 10:35, 8 December 2006 (EST)
No, I bought the upgrades and immediatly got the rainment — Unsigned comment by 67.184.103.195 (talk)
- Looking into it more, it seems probable that the level of this one item is set at the time that you install the plugin. In other words, it is based upon the level of the character when the Deepscorn Hollow quest is first added to the character's journal. That is consistent with what I find for three different characters I've been playing with. For example, one character was level 18 at the time the plugin was installed, then finished purchasing everything at level 22, and received the level 18 version of the Raiment (25% Reflect Damage).
- I would be very interested in getting confirmation of this from other players, because if so it is a significant glitch with this quest; any players who start the game with this plugin already installed will be doomed to only get the worst quality Raiment. One probable workaround is to uninstall the plugin, load up your most recent save and immediately resave it (to clear out the plugin from that save), then reinstall the plugin. (This is possible even on the Xbox, see Xbox 360 Official Mods). You'll need to redo any parts of this quest you had previously done, but I'm guessing you will end up with the higher level Raiment. --Nephele 21:36, 15 December 2006 (EST)
Yes, it was too late for the rainment of the crimson scar, however, I thought of this and before doing the quest for the mehrunes razor I deleted the file from my hard drive and re-downloaded it. And the Morag Tong armor was for the proper level.
I picked up the Crimson Eviscerator at level 30, but it still has the level 25 stats. I tried deleting and downloading it again, but I still only get the level 25. This is on the 360 version.— Unsigned comment by 71.105.35.157 (talk)
- Did you go into the game and make a new save of your game after deleting the mod? You need to be sure after re-downloading the mod that you are starting the quest completely from scratch and get the initial quest message again. --Nephele 01:22, 15 January 2007 (EST)
on xbox 360 I just lvl'd to 30 and went to deepscorn hollow to get my crimson evisorator and it was a lvl 1 item so i saved game deleted vile lair file, loaded save game, resaved. then redownloaded quest, resumed last save and got msg for deepscorn quest. but when i went to get the new lvl eviscerator it was close to lvl 25-29 but not exact. the magic effects were as it should be for lvl25-29 but instead of damage being 19 it was 18. is this right? is there a mistake on the stats page for eviscerator? will try again at lvl 31 and report back -- 74.100.100.70 09:24, 10 March 2007 (EST)nemo
- Thanks for reporting back that reloading the game does work to reset the level of the eviscerator... it was going to be a while before I'd get a chance to look into it. The damage being off slightly is just because the damage that gets shown on your screen is the actual damage that your character will do (taking into account your character's blade skill and strength), rather than the base damage (see The Complete Damage Formula for the equations).
- As for the level you got, I just double-checked the leveling and it turns out that you are not guaranteed to get the maximum-level item for the eviscerator. That means that for any character above level 30, you have a 50% chance of getting the level 25-29 item and a 50% chance of the level 30+ item. And of course which one is determined when you reload the game, so if you want to be sure to get the level 30+ one you'll need to be prepared to delete, save, download, and reload over and over again :|. --Nephele 11:21, 10 March 2007 (EST)
I'm pretty sure the level of the eviscerator is determined by the level of your character when the mod was installed. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned all ready or not. Tentacle 13:43, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- Thanks for pointing that out. That seems to be the conclusion from the last few rounds of comments, but it never got incorporated into the article, until now. --NepheleTalk 14:43, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
Uhh, just wonderin' if that's how it works for the 360 version, too. You don't really install the thing, and it loads the new content everytime you start the game up, SO... just didn't know if it depends on when you got the add-on, or when you take the item in the 360 version. Prompt attention to this would be appreciated. :D — Unsigned comment by 68.13.173.119 (talk)
- Almost this entire discussion is based on Xbox 360 user experiences (note the frequent mention of "Xbox", "on the 360", etc.). So, yes, this is definitely how it works for Xbox 360 players. And try reading Xbox 360 Official Mods (again, a link mentioned earlier in this discussion) to find out how it is possible to uninstall mods on the Xbox version. For the trick to work, you just need to disconnect yourself from Xbox Live for 10 minutes. --NepheleTalk 02:34, 8 June 2007 (EDT)
Additem
I am unable to acquire the items via the additem command. It gives me an error, e.g., "Item 'xx0060BD' not found for parameter ObjectID." Are the list objectid's accurate? — Unsigned comment by 72.241.13.180 (talk)
- See the discussion at Oblivion:Official Plug-ins. You need to figure out what the correct two-digit prefix is for your configuration, and replace 'xx' with that number. --Nephele 13:41, 10 January 2007 (EST)
Chokeberry
Just a note, you can mix this with Poisoned Apple to get a potion as well. Lisan al Gaib 21:32, 5 January 2007 (EST)
Interesting. A poison like that would make any sword powerful, but I'm guessing that you can drink the potion, because you can eat the poison fruit.
You can mix the chokeberry with the heart of order from the shivering islands too, to create a drinkable potion. It seems the effect doesn't ever wear of, decreasing your life 10 pts per second. Sleeping does not end this effect, nor does banishing or cure poison.
Help
i got the vile lair mod, extracted it and checked in the oblivion start up data files, but it won't work. i havent got the first quest message or anything. Help! — Unsigned comment by Loopyloo (talk • contribs)
- You might want to try downloading it again; maybe the first download was incomplete. Or else try starting the game with the vile lair mod as the only additional mod, and see if that works. If it does, then you may have a conflict between your mods; with some more experimenting you should be able to figure out which mod specifically is causing the problem. --Nephele 12:04, 31 January 2007 (EST)
- If you havent downloaded the patch update (if you play on a Xbox 360), maybe you cant play deepscorn hollow. Like Battlehorn, when i removed the patch it also removed battlehorn, but all my other DLCS stayed the same.
Cabinet Glitch
- There is an odd graphics glitch with Deepscorn Hollow. When entering the Hollow through the trap door outside, and then go to Deepscorn Bastion and check the cabinet where the Raiment of the Crimson Scar is located, it is not displayed. However, after pressing 'X' to take everything in the cabinet, the Raiment appears in your personal inventory. This doesn't seem to ultimately affect anything, though.
It sounds like this is just an instance of a glitch that can happen with absolutely any container in the game, see Items Disappearing from Containers. I doubt there's anything special about this one cabinet. --Nephele 11:59, 2 March 2007 (EST)
- I have run into a problem where this cabinet really does lose items. I think it has something to do with the code... everything in the cabinet is wiped out and the Rainment of the Crimson Scar is replaced. This does give you an infinte number of the rainment, but be careful not to put anything else in there. --Gerdofal 01:07, 13 October 2007 (EDT)
-
-
- Hmm... I do have the leveled item fix in use, but I thought it only checked inventory? I guess it's possible that it's fixing the rainment while in the cabinet? I've done some tests. I can put items in any other container and they are fine... but anything I put in that one cabinet is replaced by a new rainment... and I can get an unlimited number of rainments. It takes it just a couple of hours to happen (I can literally just wait after putting something in the cabinet and it will happen.) --Gerdofal 21:37, 13 October 2007 (EDT)

-
- For good measure I just checked in my game (Xbox 360, i.e., no mods). I took out the Raiment and put in an enchanted cuirass. Waiting right there for 8 hours had no effect. Then going outside and waiting for 73 hours (long enough to reset any containers) also had no effect: the cuirass was still sitting in the cabinet, and there was no new raiment. So it seems like it must be a mod that's causing this. --NepheleTalk 00:42, 23 October 2007 (EDT)

For some reason the cabinet containing the raiment has not appeared in my upgraded bedroom(Xbox360). Has this happened to anyone else? — Unsigned comment by 70.107.164.27 (talk)
- You need to purchase all of the upgrades, not just the bedroom upgrade. Only then will the cabinet with the raiment appear. --NepheleTalk 03:12, 8 January 2008 (EST)
Sleeping Prisoner
I just want to point out that the sleeping prisoner is very usefull for leveling Blade, Blunt, Hand to Hand or Marksman. Actually it seems this is the quickest method for leveling these skills without cheating because he is indestructable and won't attack you.
Nirnroot Sample??
What exactly is different about this Nirnroot than any other? In my game it is simply called Nirnroot (not Nirnroot sample) and stacks with all the others of its kind. -- Necaradan666
- The difference is that it's a green lump sitting on the desk instead of plant in a pot. Every other Nirnroot you encounter in the entire game is a plant that disappears when you harvest the root. And because this one is an already-harvested sample of the root, it respawns after three days. --NepheleTalk 11:48, 11 April 2007 (EDT)
Speaking of which... A few features of Deepscorn Hollow can be used without purchasing any upgrades: (...)
A harvested Nirnroot sample (not a plant) can be found on the desk in the bedroom area of Deepscorn Bastion. This sample will respawn every three days. This provides an easy, yet slow, way to get enough Nirnroot to complete the Seeking Your Roots quest.
I haven't purchased anything yet, and there are definitely no desks anywhere in the Deepscorn Bastion area (only a regular bed), and no Nirnroot sample either...
Nothing in the square room on the right-hand side (East, where the regular bed is located), nothing in the "T"-shaped room on the left (West), and that's it for the Bastion... only the door to the Shrine of Sithis North and to the Cloister on the South. -- Basophilous 16:16, 24 July 2007 (EDT)
- Sorry, my mistake. I thought I was checking on the nirnroot with a character who had never bought any of the upgrades, but obviously I wasn't ;) This time I really did use the character who hadn't previously bought any upgrades, and was able to figure out that you need to buy the Deepscorn Bedroom Area upgrade to get the magic nirnroot (kind of makes sense, given that its description states "Desk with various Ingredients"). I think I've cleaned up after myself now! --NepheleTalk 22:40, 25 July 2007 (EDT)
Font of Renewal
- It is also possible to get stuck in the Font of renewal if you jump in the pond. As of yet i have not found a way out. — Unsigned comment by 86.144.190.17 (talk)
I've moved this "bug" from the main article to here because as far as I know there is no real bug. There are a set of steps leading out of the font of renewal: just swim over to them and walk up. I'm not sure what is so difficult about that (or what's different from basically every other pool in the game) to require an entry in the bugs section. --NepheleTalk 15:31, 6 May 2007 (EDT)

Dark Minion
When you command him to kill in the name of Sithis, he will disappear for a few days. How many days is a few? Must I visit Deepscorn Hollow to see if he is back? --Robert Smith 00:26, 25 May 2007 (EDT)
- The script comments say that the check happens after "about a day" but my interpretation of the actual commands is that it will be after 2 to 3 days, or more specifically 48 hours from midnight of the day you send him off. At that point the game randomly decides whether he succeeded or failed (75% chance of success). No mattter where you are you should be notified by a message box popping up. Finally, if he was successful random leveled items are added to his loot chest (the most valuable items are: gold, 25% chance magic jewelry, 10% chance magic armor, 10% chance magic weapon)
- Also, FYI he literally does just "disappear" for the intervening days. His character is disabled when you send him off, then re-enabled afterwards. --NepheleTalk 02:54, 25 May 2007 (EDT)
- Hmm, so far I have had to visit Deepscorn Hollow to get the "pop up" message, unlike Dunbarrow Cove there the message popping up 7 days after you send them on a mission telling you that they are back (no matter where I'm). I will try some more times. --Robert Smith 13:04, 25 May 2007 (EDT)
- I have never had the message pop up in-game, like it does for the Cove pirates. I've used the minion countless times (not recently due to KotNine), and I only get the message after entering one of the doors to Deepscorn. The timeline sounds correct in that it seems to take around 48 hours, rather than the "game" stated one day. So I'm 100% with you Robert. Could this be some strange unlikely 360 vs PC difference or caused by a previous official mod?. --AlbinoMudcrab 16:12, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

- Probably just me misreading the scripting then ;) It's not obvious where the check that you're in Deepscorn Hollow is done, but perhaps the scripting on disabled objects (such as the minion when he's on a mission) only gets checked when the character is in the area. In any case, I'll always trust in-game experience over my attempts to interpret the game's scripting. --NepheleTalk 17:04, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

- OK ,thx regarding KotNine, you could always use Gray Cowl of Nocturnal to avoid infamy on your real character--Robert Smith 23:48, 25 May 2007 (EDT)

- If you want the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal to get the infamy, you need to have it on when you get the pop up message, namely the one that says "Your minion has performed his dark deed". So you should probably put it on before entering Deepscorn Hollow any time you've sent out the minion. --NepheleTalk 14:30, 13 July 2007 (EDT)

Possible Sleeping Prisoner Bug
Can using the sleeping prisoner for training increase your number of unreported crimes and in turn crash your game after that number becomes too high? I ask this because there are other similar situations in game where you can continually attack vulnerable NPC's without them dying (http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Peryite) which result in this bug.
I also have a question about the sleeping prisoner: If he stands up, will he ever go back to sleep on his own? I have the Xbox 360 version, so I can't install the unofficial patch to fix it :( --01:18, 10 February 2008 (EST)~
question number two... If you leave and let everything respawn (I believe it is three ingame days) and he will lay down.Miceypoo@aol.com
Actually, I just exited the area and re-entered and he was again sleeping. Have you tried this? I am also on the 360 version.--Blktiger0 23:21, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Interesting discovery relating Crimson Eviscerator and quest glitch
I tested this a few times. I am at level 31. I noticed that everytime I entered Deepscorn before getting the message I had arrived, I found the 30+ version, but it downgraded to to the 25-29 version if I actually did get the message first. The last time I tried, it worked out favorably for me as I never got the next message regarding the journal inside and was able to leave and come back to get the arrival message.--75.68.134.170 22:18, 2 July 2007 (EDT)
Cheat Problem
After downloading this plugin the Duplication Cheat will cease to work.— Unsigned comment by 86.144.161.175 (talk)
- I'm 99% certain that's not right. I definitely used the arrow duplication trick to get more ingredients for the ol' quad damage poisons and had all the downloadable plugins installed. It's after the latest patch is installed that the cheat is fixed. --RpehTalk 03:42, 10 July 2007 (EDT)
- Confirming -- you probably had to install game patch 1.2 before installing the plugin. -- Basophilous 17:24, 23 July 2007 (EDT)
- No, this plugin does not require the 1.2 version of the patch. As stated at the Bethesda download page, only the v 1.1.511 patch is required for Deepscorn Hollow (and most of the mods; Shivering Isles is the only content so far that requires the 1.2 patch). The arrow duplication cheat was not fixed by the 1.1.511 patch.
- Besides the facts about the patches, I also know from personal experience that the arrow duplication cheat will work with this plugin. The testing that I did of this cheat (Oblivion Talk:Glitches#Mechanics of the Duplication Glitch) was all done on a Xbox 360 which had all available plugins at that time installed, including Deepscorn Hollow.
- Finally, to state the obvious: the arrow duplication cheat is not the only duplication cheat. Duplication using scrolls will work even with the latest patch installed. So there is no way that installing this plugin will make all duplication cheats cease to work. --NepheleTalk 02:40, 24 July 2007 (EDT)
- Well, I'm still using 1.1.511 with this plugin, so certainly it does not require version 1.2 -- I meant that the reporter was probably induced in installing patch 1.2 before installing the plugin (although patch 1.2 is not required) -- for instance maybe only patch 1.2 is available on the XBox Live (automatically proposed or installed before being able to acquire this mod ?) and since this mod requires patch 1.1 at least... -- thus the issue observed. -- Basophilous 14:11, 24 July 2007 (EDT)
- Confirming -- you probably had to install game patch 1.2 before installing the plugin. -- Basophilous 17:24, 23 July 2007 (EDT)

Is this mod (and the other two houses) triggered by a certain script being implemented in the sewers of the tutorial dungeon? Confused about the levelled items
I understand that the Raiment and dagger's strengths are based on the level your character was when you downloaded the plug-in, however, does this mean for a new character that they would receive the level 30 versions if the plug-in was downloaded at level 30+, or does it mean that all characters (currently existing when the Vile Lair is downloaded) will receive the version that their level is entitled to (and as new characters after it is downloaded were not at any level when it was downloaded, they will always receive the level 1 version)? Long question, I know, but thanks for any help you can give >_> -- PriddsAgain
- The level is set when you receive the quest update for the plugin. So, for an existing character the level will be appropriate, but new characters will always receive the Lv. 1 version. (Since you get the quest in the sewers after the tutorial, before you ever get the chance to sleep, inorder to level.) If you want the level appropriate version (best to do this after lv. 30), you'l need to uninstall the plugin, and then re-load it. Or, if you're on the PC, use the Console.--LordDagon 12:14, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
Vampirism
Is it actually possible to get Porphyric Hemophilia from anything added in the Deepscorn Hollow expansion? --Merco 14:03, 2 November 2007
- Nope, but te Font of Renewal feature allows you to Cure vampirism.--LordDagon 11:44, 16 January 2008 (EST)
Is it actually pssible to become a vampire from any part of the game besides Vicenti Valteri???
(EDT)

- Sure, just let a vampire attack you until you get Porphyric haemophilia and then wait for three days before sleeping. Any vampire can give you vampirism.--Willyhead 06:26, 20 April 2008 (EDT)
Page Split
Most people will probably have seen what has recently happened to the Battlehorn Castle pages - what was one page is now three: Oblivion:Battlehorn Castle (quest) for the quest, Oblivion:Battlehorn Castle (place) for the location, and Oblivion:Fighter's Stronghold for the actual plugin. The suggestion came up during that debate that the same be done to some of the other plugin pages - including this one. The proposal is to create "Deepscorn Hollow (quest)", "Deepscorn Hollow (place)" and "Vile Lair". I doubt there'll be much debate but I thought I'd better check. --Rpeh•T•C•E• 14:56, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
what if you use the font of renewal, will you ever be able to be a vampire again?
Part one: I for one don't want that done because it would make it harder to read the page(s) Part two: This isn't the right place for that question and no, it isn't.Miceypoo@aol.com
Dark Minion
I was wondering why the Dark Minion doesn't have his own NPC page because he is the only NPC in thr game without one. I would create it but i don't know anything about him or about the wiki — Unsigned comment by 58.178.149.139 (talk)
- Good point, well made. I've just knocked a page up. It could use some more detail but please don't add in information that is more applicable to the Deepscorn Hollow page. —Rpeh•T•C•E• 05:22, 19 December 2007 (EST)

Vampire Cure
If i use the font of renewal to cure my vampirism, can i ever contract it again is it still a one time thing? — Unsigned comment by 24.214.108.15 (talk)
- Yep, its still a one-time thing. The only way to become a Vampire again is by using the Console.--LordDagon 12:09, 4 April 2008 (EDT)
It didn't let me i have a lvl 28 Argonian and I cured vamprisim by accident in deepscorn hollow as much as ive tried i cant contract it again and ideas? 13:58 2009
- Like it says above you contract it again if your using the console on the PC version. Liam head 13:48, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
Map link broken
The map link in the main infobox doesn't work, it just brings up a full zoomed-out view of the map. I tried puzzling this out myself, but no luck.
- I get the same thing on the Battlehorn Castle and the Frostcrag Spire pages. --GuildKnightTalk2me 13:30, 11 June 2008 (EDT)

- They're fixed. Let us know if you notice any others. --GuildKnightTalk2me 13:42, 11 June 2008 (EDT)
Outside Deepscorn
Standing at the well outside of Deepscorn Hollow, if you turn to the right you will see a rock with a bit of wall right next to it. Behind this bit of wall is a chest with, at least for me, a small amount of gold and a gold ring. Also standing at the well, if you look forward and to the right, more towards the water, you will see what appears to be a very small island. On the island are some rocks. When standing near these rocks, I heard very strong wind. However, when moving away from the rocks, in any direction, the sound of wind ceased. I'm not sure that this information is exactly important, but I thought it was interesting. Darkle 18:19, 29 June 2008 (EDT)
Storage
Does Greywyn's Armoire respawn?
- No. Darkle 20:34, 14 July 2008 (EDT)
- It does for me. Every time I open it there is a new set of armor in there and anything else I placed in there is gone. — Unsigned comment by 99.245.50.234 (talk)
- It shouldn't... Is there a possibility of a third-party mod causing this to happen? Darkle 02:28, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

I got stuck...
This isn't really a bug, but when you try to swim next to the tree entrance on the interior of the Hollow, you get stuck, when you try to jump you don't jump out of the water but you lose fatigue, and though I've tried everything it's pretty much inpossible to get out of. Guards Attacking
I moved into vile lair as the grey fox after murdering the count of anvil and now there are loads of anvil guards appearing in my lair and trying to apprehend me, is there a way to stop this?
