Mist-covered lakes are one of the landscapes implemented by Ancient Yews

Ancient Yews is a landscape overhaul mod that is part of the Unique Landscapes collection. It overhauls the landscape situated right on the border of the Heartlands and the Nibenay Basin, east of the Imperial City and southwest of Cheydinhal. It is surrounded by the Blue, Yellow and Red Ring Roads as well as the Corbolo and Reed Rivers.

It features dense yew forests which were inspired by the ones commonly found in England, hilly terrain with some paths running through, mist-covered lakes, and creeks with small waterfalls. Near Arkved's Tower, there is now a high vantage point named Arkved's Spike from which you can look out over large parts of the region. In the woods, you can find an old, sealed tomb called Longman's Barrow, which is, however, not accessible for an indefinite period of time.

You can find winding creeks and many small waterfalls...
...explore the dense woods around Vaermina's Shrine and the now-misty Lake Poppad...
...or simply enjoy the magnificent view from Arkved's Spike.
