Walkthrough

For this quest, you'll have to meet the client directly. Go to Kathar and meet the client, who will hand you a letter. The task looks simple enough - kill Talvanus. Unfortunately, things are never that simple. Talvanus is really an informant for the order; if you talk to him before killing him, he'll tell you this. You can either kill him anyway, or escort him to the castle, since his cover is obviously blown. Killing him will anger Clemente, but he won't punish you - you didn't know better, and you were following the client's instructions. If you bring Talvanus to the castle, Typhola will be a little annoyed, but you'll be in the clear. You'll also get the quest Employment for Talvanus.

10		Typhola has something for me to do. Maybe I should go to her and see what exactly it is.
20		Typhola told me to meet a client on the northern edge of the Kathar crater. He will arrive there when the sun goes down.
30		A mysterious figure handed me a letter and then disappeared into the dunes.
40		The principal's list is clearly formulated. I have to kill Talvanus, the cursebreaker of Kathar. That shouldn't be a problem.
50		I've killed Talvanus, the cursebreaker, and should now return to Typhola to tell her about my success.
60	Finishes quest	It seems that Talvanus was really was an informant for Clemente. Typhola certainly wasn't happy about his death. She wants to discuss things with Clemente and tell me how to proceed tomorrow.
70		Talvanus has been posing as Clemente's informant. Under these circumstances, I thought it best to take him to the castle. But I will keep an eye on him. One wrong move, and my weapon will correct the Dark Elf's generous body size.
80	Finishes quest	Typhola was less than enthusiastic about all the events. It seems that Talvanus told the truth and he really is our Order's informant. Typhola now wants to discuss things with Clemente. Meanwhile, I should find a job for Talvanus here at the castle. The best way is to around and see what is there to do.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss07Verbindung stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
