Walkthrough

Go to the Assassin Castle and talk to the guard at the gate named Seldith Fayvales. He'll deny you entry, but your journal will suggest talking to someone in Kathar. Seek out Relsav Andor, the owner of Andor's Hostel. He'll tell you that Seldith has a moon sugar addiction; bring the guard some, and he'll let you in.

Once you bring the moon sugar, Seldith will tell you that you'll need an Assassin robe (this isn't him making you jump through hoops - this is guild rules). Luckily, he knows someone who happens to have one - Salacia Malev. Acquire the robe, then return to Seldith.

He'll give you one final task: Light the torches on the road to the castle every night for the next three nights. Easy enough; all you have to do is ensure they're lit at dusk each night. Once you do that, he'll grant you admittance to the castle.

After that, seek out Typhola in the Great Hall and talk to her; she'll induct you into the order.

20		An old man named Relsav Andor in Kathar claimed to have once been an Assassin himself. He told me that the castle's gatekeeper has a moon sugar problem. Perhaps in this way I can find out the Assassin Order's admission criteria.
30		In exchange for some moon sugar, Seldith told me that I need an Assassin's robe in order to enter the castle.
40		When I appeared before Seldith in my Assassin robe, he gave me another task. Apparently the night critters have been coming increasingly closer to the castle. 100		I've gained access to the Assassin Castle.

150	Finishes quest	I have failed and not lit the torches on the way to the Assassin Castle on three consecutive nights. Access to the castle remains blocked to me.

210	Finishes quest	The Assassins probably aren't supposed to speak to Khajiit very well either. My goodness, is there a single place this accursed desert that doesn't treat Khajiit as vermin? or As an Argonian, I seem to have no chance of joining the Assassins. I was fobbed off right at the entrance.

Notes

• Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
• Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
• If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
• It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage ODDAss01Aufnahme stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
