Uurwen in Cheydinhal's Guild Hall

Uurwen, a Wood Elf mage, is an Evoker of the Mages Guild who offers recharging services at the Cheydinhal Guild Hall.

Uurwen believes in the concept of "early to bed, early to rise," since she lies down at 8pm, waking at 4am the next day. She will then spend all of the morning reading the common text Mysterious Akavir in one of the chairs of the second floor. From 11am until 8pm she will simply stroll around the Guild Hall until 8pm, when she should eat dinner but, due to a bug, she doesn't and instead goes straight to bed. She will always offer her services when not sleeping.

She wears the standard mage's robe and a pair of quilted shoes. She also carries her book and a meager amount of gold. She doesn't wield any weapons, relying instead on a set of leveled mage spells from all of the magical schools (always strongest for Uurwen's skill level).

Dialogue

She's not very pleased with how things are going at the Cheydinhal Mages Guild:

"Well, to be honest, I don't think we have much of a team in the Cheydinhal guildhall. We lack leadership, and individually, we aren't very skilled."

She is, however, quite content with the standards of the Arcane University:

"Only mages who have gotten recommendations from all the local guild halls can enter the Arcane University. It's a good policy, I think."

If you have yet to join the Mages Guild, she will point you toward questionable guild head Falcar:

"Are you interested in joining the guild? Talk to Falcar here in Cheydinhal, if so. Otherwise, any leader of a local Mages Guild hall can help."

If approached about a recommendation she will inform you:

"That's Falcar's responsibility. He takes it very seriously."

Once Falcar has given you your task, Uurwen will arouse suspicion:

"Now that sounds like an odd way to prove your worth. I just don't understand Falcar sometimes. The last Associate that came in for training never came back. I guess Falcar really upset him. Deetsan seemed mad about it too."

Once you have performed the task given, Uurwen will say on the topic of recommendations:

"You'd better speak to Deetsan about it."

When she hears of Vidkun's demise, she will mourn:

"What a way to go. Awful news, just awful."

Unused Dialogue

• Uurwen was supposed to greet you normally the first time you meet her; however, the greeting can never be heard as it requires her to be in Mach-Na's Books, which she never goes to. "Uurwen the Evoker. I'm responsible for enchanted item recharge for the Cheydinhal guildhall."

Bugs

• At 8pm she has an AI package that should make her eat for two hours. However, the sleeping AI is loaded first and she therefore goes straight to bed without having eaten.
